About power washing your home

  • Consistent maintenance is an essential part of owning a home. Power washing will increase curb appeal, prevent costly repairs, and prolong the life of surfaces. This upkeep can increase the value of a home by up to $15,000 according to the National Association of Realtors.

  • In most cases, you should power wash your home every other year. If your home is surrounded by a lot of trees and doesn’t have any sun exposure, you’ll need service yearly.

  • This often depends on the location of your property. As a rule of thumb, the best time to power wash is during the fall and spring, although there is no additional risk to power washing in the winter or summer. Power washing should be part of your regular home maintenance.

  • No, our process is safe for plants and animals. All of our products are biodegradable and would completely dissolve within 24 hours.

  • Yes. That ‘green stuff’ you see on your siding is algae. It affects many homes in New England, but you’re in luck because our washing process is designed to safely eliminate not only algae, but also mold, dirt, grime, and other contaminants, leaving your siding clean and fresh.

  • The exterior of your windows is soaped and rinsed during our house washing process, however, we do not squeegee or dry them by hand.

  • IteNo, using the right mixture of soaps and low pressure allows us to clean any exterior surface without causing any damage.

  • Soft wash is a process that combines low pressure with biodegradable cleansers to remove dirt, mildew, algae, and other contaminants from your home’s exterior.

About washing your roof

  • The black streaks on your roof are an infestation known as Gloeocapsa Magma. This algae eats away at the limestone filler in your shingles, leaving behind a dark residue. Our roof treatment is designed to remove these black streaks and neutralize the infestation at its roots.

  • It is not recommended to use high-pressure when cleaning roofs. Our roof treatment uses a specialized algaecide designed to eliminate moss, lichens, and black streaks. This is performed at a very low pressure to avoid structural damage, providing the best results possible for your home.

  • It is not recommended to physically remove moss from your roof at the time of service. However, the good news is that our roof treatment neutralizes moss and lichens at their roots. This allows them to fall off the roof over time naturally.
